Sole Essentials Wearing Insrtructions

The first thing you should know about your customized insoles/orthotics is

Conditions that took years to develop will not usually disappear immediately.

The most important factor for your customized orthotics to function correctly is your footwear. Use common sense for your choice, type and style of footwear.

REMOVE any type of padding, arch cookies, heel pads, etc..from your footwear before inserting insoles.

Upon standing on your new insoles on the floor without shoes you should feel as though your sock is bunched up under new areas of your feet. If you experience any pointed or sharp discomfort remove your insoles and contact our office.

You may experience very minor aches and pains in your back, hip, leg, knee, ankle and foot during this break in period, this is not uncommon. If pain or comfort persists, remove your insoles and please contact our office at (651) 298-0652 or 1-8888-4-SOLE-1.

Day 1:     1/2-1 Hour then remove

Day 2:     1 hour in the morning, 1 hour in the evening

Day 3:     1.5 hours in the morning, 1.5 hours in the evening

Day 4+    Add 1 hour per day. Decrease wearing time if uncomfortable (remove for 1 hour then resume)

Commence wearing your insoles in the morning for best results.

Your shoes should not provide any additional correction. A neutral shoe with a normal heel works best. If possible start wearing your insoles in a newer pair of shoes. Flat or toning shoes are not recommended. High heels over 2.5 inches are acceptable but may require additional customization.

Break in of new insoles can take as many as 14 days or 50 hours of wearing time. Our objective is your comfort! We reserve the right to make adjustments to improve your comfort. If during your 14* day break in period we are unable to do so we proudly offer you a 100% money back guarantee. *(excluding postage/shipping/handling fees.)
